About Us
Why We Are Nigeria's Leading Agric Policy Network
With a passion for evidence-based research and deep respect for Nigeria’s farming communities, we work to generate rigorous policy insights, build researcher capacity, and promote sound agricultural governance at every level.
Who We Are
About APRNet
From evidence-based policy research and climate-smart agricultural analysis to capacity building and public-private stakeholder engagement — APRNet works across the entire agricultural knowledge value chain. We partner with researchers, government agencies, civil society and NGOs to deliver measurable, lasting impact on Nigeria’s food systems and rural livelihoods.
Established in 2009 at a meeting of Nigeria’s agricultural research policy stakeholders and facilitated by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) under the CIDA-funded Agricultural Policy Support Facility, APRNet has grown into Nigeria’s most credible independent agricultural policy research network.
